About Us

Alnuha is not just an online platform for learning, but it has been developed to address the void of imparting knowledge of the Qur’an and Islamic values.

Following the guidelines set by Allah is the greatest obligation for a Muslim, but doing this gets tougher for the kids being borne or raised at places where they have fewer opportunities to learn about their ‘deen’.

Though western countries share many social and moral values with Islam, there are some challenges for Muslims living here.

Keeping children, particularly when they are growing, within the boundaries set by Allah is achievable by teaching them Islamic values and Quran teachings and help them to apply all this in their daily life.

For a Muslim parent, it is not just an option but compulsory to teach the essence of Islam to his/her children to fortify their faith in Allah. It is also their duty to raise them as a responsible citizen to make a positive contribution in societies where they are living.

Nuha K, the founder of Alnuha, is a devoted Muslim mother. She has experienced the same challenge of teaching Qur’an and Islamic values to her children while not living in Muslim majority country. She realized how hard it would be for other Muslim parents to educate the true meaning of Qur’an and Islam to their children while dealing with so many other challenges of life.

To make things easier for Muslim parents and to strengthen the faith among the young Muslim brains, Nuha started an online portal – Alnuha – for teaching Qur’an and Arabic as both are entwined with each other. The literal meaning of Alnuha is ‘the intellect’ but it is implied that humans need intellect to strengthen their belief in Allah and His teachings.

Alnuha’s inspiration became the first revelation of the Holy Qur’an which reads:

“Proclaim! (Or read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created-“

اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ

Our platform provides Islamic education and Arabic language classes to all age groups. We believe that Arabic knowledge is essential to grasp the essence of Qur’an. Therefore, our teachers are native Arabic speakers but have equal command over other languages to communicate well with your child.

We aim to educate those who want to learn more about their religion and follow the path determined by Allah (SWT) and guided by our holy prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
